Bold stories need steady support.
Portland Queer Arts Foundation pays queer artists, produces new work, and builds the community that holds it all together. Your gift keeps that work moving long after the final bow.
From our flagship annual showcase to artist grants and community education, Portland Queer Arts Foundation is building the infrastructure queer artists deserve.
Our annual flagship celebration brings together Portland's most vibrant queer performers for an evening of theater, music, comedy, and unapologetic expression.
We have supported queer artists with direct funding for projects, performances, and creative development. Applications are currently closed — stay tuned for future cycles.
The World We Create
The World We Create, frames queerness as a creative act — Queer artists across disciplines answer one question: what are you bringing into existence?
Portland Queer Arts Foundation empowers queer artists to share unapologetically queer stories, build sustainable creative careers, and inspire a more just and accepting world.
We believe art is not a luxury — it's infrastructure. Every production, grant, and gathering we host is an investment in the visibility and vitality of queer culture in our city.
